We collect only the information needed to operate this website, respond to enquiries and protect the service. A website enquiry is not added to a marketing list.

2. Information we collect
When you submit the contact form, we collect your company name, contact name, email address, mobile number and the description you provide. Please do not submit passwords, special-category data or other sensitive information through this form.
For security and operation, the website may also process technical information such as an IP address, an IP-derived pseudonymous security identifier, browser/device information, request time, requested page and server error or access-log information. Administrators' account, login and activity information may also be processed to run the secured administration area.
3. Why we use it and our legal bases
| Purpose | Information | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| Review, respond to and follow up an enquiry | Contact and enquiry details | Steps requested before entering a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)) and, where that basis does not apply, our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries (Article 6(1)(f)). |
| Operate, secure and troubleshoot the website and prevent spam or abuse | Technical, security and log information | Our legitimate interests in providing a reliable and secure website (Article 6(1)(f)). |
| Meet legal, accounting or regulatory duties and establish or defend legal claims | Relevant business records | Compliance with a legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)) and our legitimate interests in protecting legal rights (Article 6(1)(f)), as applicable. |
We do not rely on consent to answer a requested enquiry, and we do not treat submitting the form as consent to electronic direct marketing. If we introduce marketing communications, we will provide the required separate choice and information.
4. Is the information required?
The contact-form fields are required so that we can understand the business requirement and reply. If you do not provide them, the form cannot be submitted; you may instead email us directly.
5. Who receives the information
Authorised Bi-Nex personnel may access information where needed for their role. We may use carefully selected service providers for website hosting, infrastructure, security, backup or professional advice. They may process information only for the agreed service and subject to appropriate confidentiality and data-protection obligations. We may disclose information where required by law, to a regulator or public authority, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
We do not sell personal data.
6. International transfers
We aim to use services hosted in Ireland or the European Economic Area where practical. If a provider processes personal data outside the EEA, we will use a lawful transfer mechanism and appropriate safeguards, such as an adequacy decision or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, where required. You may contact us for information about the applicable safeguards.
7. How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a customer engagement are normally deleted after 24 months. If an enquiry leads to work, relevant information may become part of customer, contractual, accounting or legal records and will be retained for the period required by law and our legitimate business needs. Security and server logs are kept only for an appropriate operational period unless they are needed to investigate an incident or legal claim.
8. Security
We use proportionate technical and organisational measures, including HTTPS, access controls, protected administrator accounts, validation, anti-spam controls, restricted upload execution and security headers. No internet service can be guaranteed completely secure, so please use the contact form only for ordinary business enquiries.
9. Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct or erase your data; restrict processing; object to processing based on legitimate interests; receive portable data; and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You also have the right not to be subject to certain solely automated decisions. This website does not use solely automated decision-making or profiling.
To exercise a right, email info@binex.ie. We may need to verify your identity. You may complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie and may also have the right to seek a judicial remedy.
10. Children
This business website is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly seek personal data from children through the enquiry form.
11. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice when our processing or legal obligations change. The current version and update date will be published on this page.
